North Tahoe Lakers (Tahoe City, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host West Wendover Wolverines (West Wendover, NV), 51-39 in a league bout.

With the win, North Tahoe upgrades its record to 15-4 on the season. The Lakers host Yerington (Yerington, NV) to clash with the Lions in a 2A Northern bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 9-11. Yerington won 51-29 in their recent league bout against Coral Academy of Science - Reno (Reno, NV)

Next up, the Wolverines clash with the Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV) in a 2A Northern bout, on Friday, February 10. West Wendover will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record.
