In Saturday's league outing, the Penobscot Valley Howlers (Howland, ME) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Stearns Minutemen (Millinocket, ME), by a margin of 64-16.

The Howlers (15-1) will now prepare for their outing against Schenck (East Millinocket, ME). The Wolverines go into the non-league outing with a 5-11 record. In their last outing, Schenck was trounced by Woodland (Baileyville, ME), 71-46, in a non-league outing.

The Minutemen now own a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Schenck for a non-league outing on Wednesday, February 8. Stearns will clash with a Wolverines squad coming off a 58-19 non-league loss to Penobscot Valley (Howland, ME). The Wolverines record now stands at 5-12.
