The Wessington Springs Spartans basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Tripp-Delmont/Armour Nighthawks to 37 in the Spartans league triumph on Saturday.
The Spartans now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Warner for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 9. Wessington Springs will battle a Monarchs team coming off a 45-33 non-league loss to Redfield (Redfield, SD). The Monarchs record now stands at 13-5.
The Nighthawks (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Wagner (Wagner, SD). The Red Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 16-1 record. In their last contest, Wagner triumphed over Viborg/Hurley (Viborg, SD), 63-41, in a non-league contest.
