Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Berthoud Spartans (Berthoud, CO) and the visiting Platte Valley Broncos (Kersey, CO), saw Berthoud's basketball squad wallop Platte Valley by a tally of 57-19.
With the victory, Berthoud improves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Spartans host Sterling (Sterling, CO) to confront the Tigers in a challenge on Tuesday, February 14. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 3-2.
Next up, the Broncos confront the Eaton Reds (Eaton, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 4. Platte Valley will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record.
