Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Dayton Dust Devils (Dayton, NV), 42-28 in a league bout.

With the win, Churchill County upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Greenwave host Elko (Elko, NV) to play the Indians in a bout on Friday, February 10. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 10-2. Elko won 46-19 in their recent non-league bout against Sparks (Sparks, NV)

Next up, the Dust Devils play the Carson Senators (Carson City, NV) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 8. Dayton will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Senators go into the bout with a 4-20 record after their 28-25 league loss to McQueen (Reno, NV).
