Canyon Cougars (New Braunfels, TX) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Tivy Antlers (Kerrville, TX), 1-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars confront the Pieper Warriors (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region 4 District 26 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Canyon will attempt to better on its 10-2 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 9-2 record after their 7-0 league win over Veterans Memorial (San Antonio, TX).

The Antlers now have a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Boerne-Champion for a 5A Region 4 District 26 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. Tivy will confront a Chargers team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Canyon (New Braunfels, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 3-5.
