Rhode Island High School Ice Hockey - East Greenwich can't get by Mount St. Charles Academy

In Saturday's league test, the host Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties ice hockey team scored a tight 3-2 win over the East Greenwich Avengers.

The Mounties (7-13) will now prepare for their test against Fairfield Prep (Fairfield, CT). The Jesuits enter the non-league test with a 7-3 record. In their last test, Fairfield Prep held off Ridgefield (Ridgefield, CT), 5-2, in a non-league test.

Next up, the Avengers encounter the Barrington Eagles (Barrington, RI) in a State Championship Division match, on Sunday, February 12. East Greenwich will attempt to advance on its 5-11 season record.
