In Saturday's league battle, the visiting Archbishop Mitty Monarchs soccer squad scored a close 7-0 triumph over the Archbishop Riordan Crusaders.
The Monarchs (12-3) will now prepare for their battle against St. Ignatius (San Francisco, CA). The Wildcats come into the West Catholic battle with a 9-3 record. In their last battle, St. Ignatius nudged Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco, CA), 4-1, in a league battle.
The Crusaders (0-12) will now prepare for their battle against Valley Christian (San Jose, CA). The Warriors come into the West Catholic battle with a 3-14 record. In their last battle, Valley Christian was overwhelmed by Serra (San Mateo, CA), 3-2, in a league battle.
