Next, the Lions confront the Sherman Bearcats (Sherman, TX) in a 5A Region 2 District 13 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Greenville will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Bearcats enter the challenge with a 4-10 record after their 2-1 league loss to Lovejoy (Lucas, TX).

The Cardinals now have a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Denison for a 5A Region 2 District 13 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. Melissa will confront a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 3-0 league loss to McKinney North (McKinney, TX). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 8-4.
