Next, the Lobos confront the Marshall Mavericks (Marshall, TX) in a 5A Region 2 District 15 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Longview will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record. The Mavericks enter the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 4-1 league loss to Texas (Texarkana, TX).

The Tigers now have a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Whitehouse for a 5A Region 2 District 15 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. Texas will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 3-2 league win over Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-5.
