Rauner Wildcats (Chicago, IL) backers were pleased Sunday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Golder Panthers (Chicago, IL), 47-39 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Rauner upgrades its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Butler (Chicago, IL) to play the Lynx in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Lynx come into the bout with a record of 12-14. Butler won 71-39 in their recent league bout against Bulls College Prep (Chicago, IL)

Next up, the Panthers play the Chicago Academy Cougars (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 7. Golder will attempt to upgrade on its 9-12 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 8-10 record after their 64-61 non-league win over Kelvyn Park (Chicago, IL).
