In Sunday's non-league outing, the Mansfield Hornets (Mansfield, MA) basketball squad edged the visiting Whitman-Hanson Regional Panthers (Whitman, MA), by a margin of 74-72.

The Hornets (10-4) will now prepare for their outing against Oliver Ames (North Easton, MA). The Tigers go into the Hockomock outing with a 2-9 record.

The Panthers now own a 12-4 record. They play next when they host Duxbury for a Patriot - Keenan outing on Tuesday, February 6.
