The West Essex Knights (North Caldwell, NJ) ice hockey nipped the host Livingston Lancers (Livingston, NJ), 4-3 in Sunday's non-league battle.
The Knights now hold a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Cranford for a non-league battle on Monday, February 5. West Essex will play a Cougars team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over West Essex (North Caldwell, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 9-7.
The Lancers (7-10) will now prepare for their battle against Summit (Summit, NJ). The Hilltoppers come into the non-league battle with a 5-11 record. In their last battle, Summit nipped Montclair Kimberley Academy (Montclair, NJ), 7-0, in a non-league battle.
