The Abbeville Wildcats basketball team scored 69 points and limited the host Erath Bobcats to 13 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.

Abbeville will confront a Pirates team coming off a 75-27 non-league loss to Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy (Youngsville, LA). The Pirates record now stands at 4-27.

With the loss, Erath falls to 4-28 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to St. Martinville (St. Martinville, LA) to confront the Tigers in a 3A District 5 game on Thursday, February 6. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 18-15. St. Martinville lost 42-30 in their recent non-league game against Central (Baton Rouge, LA)
