Afton Eagles (Afton, OK) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Quapaw Wildcats (Quapaw, OK), 44-37 in a league match.
With the victory, Afton upgrades its record to 11-12 on the year. The Eagles host Wyandotte (Wyandotte, OK) to face the Bears in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 11. The Bears enter the match with a record of 13-5.
The Wildcats now sport a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Welch for a Lucky Seven match on Monday, February 10.
