In Tuesday's league test, the Aliquippa Quips (Aliquippa, PA) basketball squad knocked off the host Mohawk Area Warriors (Bessemer, PA), by a score of 65-48.
Next, the Quips clash with the Ellwood City Wolverine (Ellwood City, PA) in a WPIAL 3A 1 test, on Friday, February 7. Aliquippa will attempt to improve on its 15-3 season record. The Wolverine come into the test with a 13-8 record after their 76-63 league win over Beaver Falls (Beaver Falls, PA).
The Warriors (16-5) will now prepare for their test against Freedom Area (Freedom, PA). The Bulldogs come into the WPIAL 3A 1 test with a 1-17 record.
