The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Lindsay Knights (Lindsay, TX) and the visiting Alvord Bulldogs (Alvord, TX), observed Lindsay's basketball team knock off Alvord by a score of 55-44.

The Knights (19-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Chico (Chico, TX). The Dragons come into the 2A Region II District 13 challenge with a 12-19 record. In their last challenge, Chico prevailed over Collinsville (Collinsville, TX), 76-60, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the Tioga Bulldogs (Tioga, TX) in a 2A Region II District 13 challenge, on Friday, February 7. Alvord will attempt to improve on its 17-14 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 9-17 record after their 75-39 league loss to Slidell (Slidell, TX).
