The Amarillo Sandies basketball team scored 42 points and limited the host Lubbock-Cooper Pirates to 23 in the Sandies league triumph on Tuesday.
The Sandies now possess a 28-5 record. They play next when they travel to Palo Duro for a 5A Region I District 3 game on Friday, February 7. Amarillo will confront a Dons team coming off a 72-68 league win over Monterey (Lubbock, TX). The Dons record now stands at 26-4.
With the loss, Lubbock-Cooper falls to 17-11 on the campaign. The Pirates host Palo Duro (Amarillo, TX) to confront the Dons in a 5A Region I District 3 game on Tuesday, February 11. The Dons go into the game with a record of 26-4.
