Kansas High School Basketball - Anderson County can't hold off Burlington

Burlington Wildcats (Burlington, KS) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Anderson County Bulldogs (Garnett, KS), 59-52 in a league match.

With the victory, Burlington advances its record to 12-2 on the year. The Wildcats host Osage City (Osage City, KS) to face the Indians in a non-league match on Friday, February 7. The Indians enter the match with a record of 9-6. Osage City won 59-46 in their recent non-league match against Northern Heights (Allen, KS)

The Bulldogs now own a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Girard for a non-league match on Friday, February 7. Anderson County will face a Trojans squad coming off a 59-45 league loss to Galena (Galena, KS). The Trojans record now stands at 2-8.
