In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Johnston Dragons basketball team scored a good 53-36 triumph over the Ankeny Centennial Jaguars.
The Dragons (9-9) will now prepare for their battle against Norwalk (Norwalk, IA). The Warriors enter the non-league battle with a 8-8 record.
The Jaguars now own a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southeast Polk for a Central Iowa Metro - East battle on Friday, February 7. Ankeny Centennial will meet a Rams squad coming off a 64-56 non-league loss to Dowling Catholic (West Des Moines, IA). The Rams record now stands at 5-13.
