In Tuesday's league contest, the host Thurston Eagles basketball team scored a big 88-32 triumph over the Annapolis Cougars.
The Eagles (12-5) will now prepare for their contest against Garden City (Garden City, MI). The Cougars go into the Western Wayne contest with a 5-12 record. In their last contest, Garden City was trounced by Crestwood (Dearborn Heights, MI), 68-57, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Cougars battle the Crestwood Chargers (Dearborn Heights, MI) in a Western Wayne contest, on Friday, February 7. Annapolis will attempt to better on its 10-9 season record. The Chargers go into the contest with a 5-9 record after their 68-57 league win over Garden City (Garden City, MI).
