North Carolina High School Basketball - Atkins holds off Eastern Guilford

In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Atkins Camels basketball team scored a close 57-51 triumph over the Eastern Guilford Wildcats.
The Camels (4-17) will now prepare for their contest against Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC). The Rams go into the 3A Mid-State contest with a 15-5 record. In their last contest, Northeast Guilford nipped Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC), 67-64, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats confront the Southern Guilford Storm (Greensboro, NC) in a 3A Mid-State contest, on Friday, February 7. Eastern Guilford will attempt to better on its 3-18 season record.
