In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Pleasant Plains Cardinals basketball team scored a good 51-43 win over the Auburn Trojans.
The Cardinals (14-9) will now prepare for their contest against Williamsville (Williamsville, IL). The Bullets come into the Sangamo contest with a 22-1 record. In their last contest, Williamsville defeated Athens (Athens, IL), 51-22, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Trojans battle the Pittsfield Saukees (Pittsfield, IL) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, February 5. Auburn will attempt to better on its 22-2 season record. The Saukees come into the contest with a 7-12 record after their 59-48 non-league loss to Jersey (Jerseyville, IL).
