Illinois High School Basketball - Brown County victorious over Augusta Southeastern

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Brown County Hornets basketball team scored a good 57-40 triumph over the Augusta Southeastern Suns.
The Hornets (17-8) will now prepare for their contest against Pittsfield (Pittsfield, IL). The Saukees go into the non-league contest with a 7-13 record. In their last contest, Pittsfield was topped by Seymour (Payson, IL), 66-50, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Suns battle the Mendon Unity Mustangs (Mendon, IL) in a West Central contest, on Friday, February 7. Augusta Southeastern will attempt to better on its 8-16 season record. The Mustangs go into the contest with a 13-9 record after their 72-55 league loss to Brown County (Mt. Sterling, IL).
