Louisiana High School Basketball - Southside overwhelms Barbe

The Southside Sharks basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting Barbe Buccaneers to 34 in the Sharks league triumph on Tuesday.
The Sharks now possess a 21-14 record. They play next when they travel to Sam Houston for a 5A District 3 game on Friday, February 7. Southside will confront a Broncos team coming off a 48-41 league loss to Lafayette (Lafayette, LA). The Broncos record now stands at 12-16.
With the loss, Barbe falls to 24-13 on the campaign. The Buccaneers host Acadiana (Lafayette, LA) to confront the Rams in a 5A District 3 game on Friday, February 7. The Rams go into the game with a record of 18-19.
