The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Glenwood Springs Demons (Glenwood Springs, CO) and the host Battle Mountain Huskies (Edwards, CO), observed Glenwood Springs's basketball team knock off Battle Mountain by a score of 61-47.

The Demons (8-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Eagle Valley (Gypsum, CO). The Devils come into the 5A Western Slope challenge with a 13-5 record. In their last challenge, Eagle Valley dropped by Lutheran (Parker, CO), 78-47, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Huskies battle the Summit Tigers (Frisco, CO) in a 5A Western Slope challenge, on Thursday, February 6. Battle Mountain will attempt to improve on its 3-10 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 1-16 record after their 65-40 non-league loss to Centaurus (Lafayette, CO).
