The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Frankfort Panthers (Frankfort, KY) and the host Berea Pirates (Berea, KY), observed Frankfort's basketball team overcome Berea by a score of 60-52.

The Panthers (16-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Western Hills (Frankfort, KY). The Wolverines come into the District 41 challenge with a 5-16 record. In their last challenge, Western Hills dropped by Nicholas County (Carlisle, KY), 93-84, in a non-league challenge.

The Pirates (9-12) will now prepare for their test against Leslie County (Hyden, KY). The Eagles come into the non-league test with a 11-12 record. In their last test, Leslie County went down by Oneida Baptist Institute (Oneida, KY), 49-47, in a non-league test.
