Texas High School Basketball - Cross Plains overwhelms Blanket

The Cross Plains Buffaloes basketball team scored 79 points and limited the visiting Blanket Tigers to 34 in the Buffaloes league triumph on Tuesday.
The Buffaloes now possess a 16-7 record. They play next when they host Rising Star for a 1A Region III District 21 game on Friday, February 7. Cross Plains will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 1-0 league win over Gustine (Gustine, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 16-11.
With the loss, Blanket falls to 15-8 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Sidney (Sidney, TX) to confront the Eagles in a 1A Region III District 21 game on Friday, February 7. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 11-9. Sidney won 45-25 in their recent league game against Santa Anna (Santa Anna, TX)
