The Bowie Volunteers (Arlington, TX) basketball were winner over the visiting Haltom Buffalos (Haltom City, TX), 67-54 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Volunteers now possess a 19-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lamar for a 6A Region I District 8 outing on Friday, February 7. Bowie will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 63-61 league loss to Arlington (Arlington, TX). The Vikings record now stands at 9-22.
The Buffalos (6-18) will now prepare for their outing against South Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX). The Warriors enter the 6A Region I District 8 outing with a 20-12 record. In their last outing, South Grand Prairie ran past Martin (Arlington, TX), 58-36, in a league outing.
