In their next game, the Elks battle the Centennial Spartans (Burleson, TX) in a 5A Region I District 8 contest, on Friday, February 7. Burleson will attempt to better on its 20-14 season record. The Spartans come into the contest with a 27-6 record after their 63-41 league win over Joshua (Joshua, TX).
