The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Burlington Seahorses (Burlington, VT) and the visiting Champlain Valley Union Redhawks (Hinesburg, VT), observed Burlington's basketball team overwhelm Champlain Valley Union by a score of 69-44.

The Seahorses (17-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans, VT). The Bobwhites/Comets come into the non-league challenge with a 8-10 record. In their last challenge, Bellows Free Academy was routed by St. Johnsbury Academy (St. Johnsbury, VT), 76-47, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Redhawks encounter the Essex Hornets (Essex Junction, VT) in a Metro challenge, on Thursday, February 6. Champlain Valley Union will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 4-13 record after their 85-55 league loss to Rice Memorial (South Burlington, VT).
