In Tuesday's league contest, the host McBee Panthers basketball team scored a close 57-54 triumph over the C.A. Johnson Hornets.

The Panthers (16-4) will now prepare for their contest against Great Falls (Great Falls, SC). The Red Devils go into the A Region 2 contest with a 14-3 record. In their last contest, Great Falls nipped Lee Central (Bishopville, SC), 69-27, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Hornets battle the Lamar Silver Foxes (Lamar, SC) in a A Region 2 contest, on Friday, February 7. C.A. Johnson will attempt to better on its 11-10 season record. The Silver Foxes go into the contest with a 9-13 record after their 82-21 league win over Riverwalk Academy (Rock Hill, SC).
