North Carolina High School Basketball - Sugar Creek Charter trounced by Carolina International

February 4, 2025: Concord, NC 28027

The Sugar Creek Charter Wildcats basketball squad (Charlotte, NC), was crushed 81-47 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Carolina International Comets (Concord, NC)

With the victory, Carolina International advances its record to 17-6 on the year. The Comets host Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC) to meet the Stallions in a 1A Metro 8 battle on Wednesday, February 5. The Stallions enter the battle with a record of 16-7. Queen's Grant won 78-32 in their recent league battle against Sugar Creek Charter (Charlotte, NC)

The Wildcats now own a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jackson Day for a 1A Metro 8 battle on Friday, February 7. Sugar Creek Charter will meet a Mariners squad coming off a 85-69 league win over Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC). The Mariners record now stands at 3-16.
