The Castlewood Blue Devils (Castlewood, VA) basketball edged the host Thomas Walker Pioneers (Ewing, VA), 70-66 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Blue Devils now possess a 4-12 record. They play next when they host Council for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 6. Castlewood will play a Cobras team coming off a 67-26 non-league loss to Holston (Damascus, VA). The Cobras record now stands at 1-12.

With the loss, Thomas Walker falls to 2-18 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Twin Springs (Nickelsville, VA) to play the Titans in a Cumberland bout on Friday, February 7. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 9-8. Twin Springs lost 47-44 in their recent league bout against Eastside (Coeburn, VA)
