The Stephenson Jaguars basketball squad (Stone Mountain, GA), was crushed 82-39 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Cedar Grove Saints (Ellenwood, GA)
With the victory, Cedar Grove advances its record to 21-3 on the year. The Saints travel to Luella (Luella, GA) to meet the Lions in a AAA Region 5 battle on Friday, February 7. The Lions enter the battle with a record of 16-7. Luella won 69-57 in their recent league battle against Douglass (Atlanta, GA)
The Jaguars now own a 7-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mt. Zion for a AAA Region 5 battle on Friday, February 7. Stephenson will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 74-53 league loss to Riverdale (Riverdale, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-22.
