In their last challenge, Canton Preparatory prevailed over Star International Academy (Dearborn Heights, MI), 68-43, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs encounter the Taylor Prep Tigers (Taylor, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 6. Merritt Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-10 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 6-10 record after their 60-42 non-league loss to Advanced Tech Academy (Dearborn, MI).
