Kansas High School Basketball - Wheatland-Grinnell victorious over Cheylin

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Wheatland-Grinnell Thunderhawks basketball team scored a good 54-45 triumph over the Cheylin Cougars.

The Thunderhawks (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Logan/Palco (Logan, KS). The go into the non-league battle with a 14-0 record. In their last battle, Logan/Palco knocked off Triplains/Brewster (Brewster, KS), 87-25, in a non-league battle.

The Cougars now own a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wallace County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 11. Cheylin will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 53-47 league loss to Decatur Community (Oberlin, KS). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-8.
