The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Chilhowie Warriors (Chilhowie, VA) and the visiting Rural Retreat Indians (Rural Retreat, VA), observed Chilhowie's basketball team overwhelm Rural Retreat by a score of 66-26.

The Warriors (10-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Holston (Damascus, VA). The Cavaliers come into the Hogoheegee challenge with a 14-5 record. In their last challenge, Holston trounced Northwood (Saltville, VA), 58-46, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Indians encounter the Patrick Henry Rebels (Glade Spring, VA) in a Hogoheegee challenge, on Friday, February 7. Rural Retreat will attempt to improve on its 5-17 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 18-3 record after their 62-38 non-league loss to Abingdon (Abingdon, VA).
