In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host St. Mary's Academy Crusaders basketball team scored a big 65-36 triumph over the Christ Prep Academy Patriots.

The Crusaders (8-10) will now prepare for their contest against Metro Academy (Shawnee Mission, KS). The Mavericks go into the non-league contest with a 15-11 record. In their last contest, Metro Academy was trounced by Blue Valley Southwest (Overland Park, KS), 64-59, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Patriots battle the Kansas City East Christian Academy Lions (Kansas City, MO) in a non-league contest, on Friday, February 7. Christ Prep Academy will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 11-14 record after their 58-52 non-league loss to Faith Christian Academy (Kansas City, MO).
