Virginia High School Basketball - Salem bests Christiansburg

The Salem Spartans basketball team scored 85 points and limited the visiting Christiansburg Blue Demons to 65 in the Spartans league triumph on Tuesday.
The Spartans now possess a 15-3 record. They play next when they host Radford for a non-league game on Wednesday, February 5. Salem will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 51-47 league win over Glenvar (Salem, VA). The Bobcats record now stands at 8-11.
With the loss, Christiansburg falls to 4-16 on the campaign. The Blue demons host Pulaski County (Dublin, VA) to confront the Cougars in a River Ridge game on Friday, February 7. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 5-16. Pulaski County won 63-56 in their recent non-league game against Abingdon (Abingdon, VA)
