The Oglethorpe County Patriots basketball squad (Lexington, GA), was crushed 58-33 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Commerce Tigers (Commerce, GA)

With the victory, Commerce advances its record to 16-8 on the year. The Tigers travel to Elbert County (Elberton, GA) to meet the Blue Devils in a A D1 Region 8 battle on Friday, February 7. The Blue Devils enter the battle with a record of 10-14. Elbert County won 100-62 in their recent non-league battle against Monsignor Donovan Catholic (Athens, GA)

The Patriots now own a 1-17 record.
