The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the ConVal Cougars (Peterborough, NH) and the visiting Laconia Sachems (Laconia, NH), observed ConVal's basketball team overcome Laconia by a margin of 57-37.

The Cougars (3-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Lebanon (Lebanon, NH). The Raiders come into the Division II challenge with a 1-9 record. In their last challenge, Lebanon dropped by Coe-Brown Academy (Northwood, NH), 59-42, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Sachems battle the Sanborn Regional Indians (Kingston, NH) in a Division II challenge, on Wednesday, February 5. Laconia will attempt to better on its 3-8 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 48-42 league win over Milford (Milford, NH).
