In Tuesday's league test, the South Umpqua Lancers (Myrtle Creek, OR) basketball squad knocked off the host Coquille Red Devils (Coquille, OR), by a score of 51-41.
Next, the Lancers encounter the Glide Wildcats (Glide, OR) in a 3A Far West test, on Friday, February 7. South Umpqua will attempt to improve on its 9-9 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 4-13 record after their 52-24 league loss to Sutherlin (Sutherlin, OR).
The Red Devils (6-14) will now prepare for their test against Douglas (Winston, OR). The Trojans come into the 3A Far West test with a 9-10 record. In their last test, Douglas was knocked off by Siuslaw (Florence, OR), 59-45, in a league test.
