The Jenkins Cavaliers basketball team scored 76 points and limited the host Cordia Lions to 43 in the Cavaliers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cavaliers now possess a 19-4 record. They play next when they host Jackson County for a non-league game on Saturday, February 8. Jenkins will confront a Generals team coming off a 85-66 non-league loss to Pineville (Pineville, KY). The Generals record now stands at 7-10.
With the loss, Cordia falls to 2-15 on the campaign. The Lions host Letcher County Central (Whitesburg, KY) to confront the Cougars / Lady Cougars in a District 53 game on Thursday, February 6. The Cougars / Lady Cougars go into the game with a record of 6-9.
