Utah High School Basketball - Mountain Ridge toppled by Corner Canyon

February 4, 2025: Herriman, UT 84096

Corner Canyon Chargers (Draper, UT) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Mountain Ridge Sentinels (Herriman, UT), 78-68 in a league match.

With the victory, Corner Canyon advances its record to 13-7 on the year. The Chargers host Herriman (West Herriman, UT) to face the Mustangs in a 6A Region 2 match on Friday, February 7. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 19-1. Herriman won 69-65 in their recent league match against Bingham (South Jordan, UT)

The Sentinels now own a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverton for a 6A Region 2 match on Friday, February 7. Mountain Ridge will face a Silverwolves squad coming off a 55-54 league loss to Copper Hills (West Jordan, UT). The Silverwolves record now stands at 7-13.
