The Covington Catholic Colonels basketball team scored 78 points and limited the visiting Holy Cross Indians to 55 in the Colonels league triumph on Tuesday.

The Colonels now possess a 16-6 record. They play next when they travel to Ryle for a non-league game on Thursday, February 6. Covington Catholic will confront a Raiders team coming off a 79-38 non-league win over Scott (Covington, KY). The Raiders record now stands at 11-9.

With the loss, Holy Cross falls to 10-8 on the campaign. The Indians host Beechwood (Fort Mitchell, KY) to confront the Tigers in a District 35 game on Friday, February 7. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 13-7. Beechwood won 81-47 in their recent non-league game against Mason County (Maysville, KY)
