In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Cranston East Thunderbolts basketball team scored a good 65-45 triumph over the Johnston Panthers.
The Thunderbolts (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Cranston West (Cranston, RI). The Falcons go into the Division II contest with a 8-10 record. In their last contest, Cranston West topped Shea (Pawtucket, RI), 35-33, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Bishop Hendricken Hawks (Warwick, RI) in a Division I contest, on Thursday, February 6. Johnston will attempt to better on its 0-17 season record. The Hawks go into the contest with a 11-6 record after their 63-56 league win over Lincoln (Lincoln, RI).
