The Dukes (11-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Lunenburg Central (Victoria, VA). The Chargers come into the James River challenge with a 7-10 record. In their last challenge, Lunenburg Central was routed by Buckingham (Buckingham, VA), 56-52, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Gretna Hawks (Gretna, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 5. Prince Edward County will attempt to improve on its 9-8 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 13-4 record after their 81-38 non-league loss to Reidsville (Reidsville, NC).
