The Woodside Wolverines basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting Denbigh Patriots to 66 in the Wolverines league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wolverines now have a 17-1 record. They play next when they travel to Menchville for a Peninsula game on Thursday, February 6. Woodside will confront a Monarchs team coming off a 65-55 league win over Gloucester (Gloucester, VA). The Monarchs record now stands at 4-12.

With the loss, Denbigh falls to 13-5 on the campaign. The Patriots host Warwick (Newport News, VA) to confront the Raiders in a Peninsula game on Thursday, February 6. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 5-10. Warwick lost 77-75 in their recent league game against Heritage (Newport News, VA)
