The Eagles (18-9) will now prepare for their contest against Campbell (Campbell, TX). The Indians go into the 1A Region III District 19 contest with a 1-24 record. In their last contest, Campbell was trounced by Fannindel (Ladonia, TX), 60-43, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Hornets battle the Savoy Cardinals (Savoy, TX) in a 1A Region III District 19 contest, on Friday, February 7. Dodd City will attempt to better on its 11-21 season record. The Cardinals go into the contest with a 12-18 record after their 59-50 league loss to Miller Grove (Cumby, TX).
